The Joy of Painting Flowers – A Botanical Painting Workshop
Join us in our beautiful, naturally inspired space for a unique and immersive botanical painting workshop that invites you to explore flowers as inspiration—beyond realism, into abstraction and personal expression.
Guided by Lezanne, this workshop will begin with a selection of fresh, seasonal flowers curated by Aspen Florals. Through mindful observation and gentle grounding exercises, we’ll reflect on colour, shape, and emotion before translating these impressions into expressive, abstract floral paintings.
Working with watercolour on paper, and layering in mixed media such as crayons or pencils, you’ll be encouraged to let go of perfection and allow your creativity to unfold naturally. Whether you start with a detailed sketch or move straight into freeform expression, this workshop is about capturing feeling rather than form—letting the painting process become a pathway to deeper connection with yourself.
No prior painting experience is necessary—just a curiosity to explore and create in a relaxed, inspiring environment.
About Stòr & Aspen Florals
Hosted in Stòr, our beautifully curated lifestyle space, this gathering is an extension of our vision—offering a sanctuary for creativity, connection, and soulful living. Home to Aspen Florals, our botanical floristry studio, the space is a reflection of natural beauty, filled with seasonal blooms, earthy textures, and a warm, inviting energy. A place to slow down, reconnect, and embrace moments of stillness.
Workshops take place in our beautiful lifestyle store and coffee bar on Broughton Street, lasting approximately 2.5–3 hours. Seasonal refreshments will be provided, and on-street parking is available.

Please indicate when ordering your preferred delivery day by selection your date on the calendar at checkout. We currently offer Edinburgh deliveries from Tuesday to Sunday each week. For deliveries outside of these days please get in touch via our mail form to confirm our availability.

Delivery will not be attempted if the wrong postcode option is selected.
Please note we cannot guarantee a delivery time slot. We recommend checking that the recipient will be home on the delivery day to ensure they receive the flowers as soon and as fresh as possible.
If we are unable to deliver directly to them we will leave the flowers in a safe place, with a neighbour or if this is not possible return them to our store where the recipient can collect them the next day.
We will always leave a delivery card with details if we can gain access to the recipients door.
